204 hands · 13 entries · $650 pot · 2h 10m · two tables

A rebuy at 7:27 and the title at 9:15. Matt W. (MawTTM) won the tournament for $295, his first win at this table, twenty-two minutes after Chris G.'s set of queens cut him to 468 chips and Jordan D.'s aces finished the job. He bought back in, took the chip lead soon after the tables merged, and knocked out five of the six players who left the final table: Jordan D. with trip tens, Chris G. with a river queen against pocket kings, Alex B., Thomas D. on the bubble, and Amy M. with a six-high straight against her jacks. Heads up against J. (jfe) with about three chips to J.'s one, the two agreed to split the top two prizes by chip count, $295 and $225, and played on for the title. J. doubled through at once, ace-ten against queen-deuce for kings full, which left the stacks within 500 chips of each other. On the next hand J. shoved six-three, Matt called with jack-deuce, and a pair of deuces made him champion. Amy M. (amaxwell) took $130 for third, her second third-place finish since August.

Eleven players sat down, enough for PokerNow to run two tables until 8:11pm. Two of them took their first cards here, and both left a mark. Alex B. (j7spaded), back at the table after a break, knocked out Hope Coin holder Nick M. at hand 57, jack-eight for a jack-high straight against Nick's two pair, and took a Hope Slayer skull. He is the third player to hold one. Nick's first stack had already gone to Thomas D.'s pocket aces at hand 32; he bought back in. Jordan D. (JojiBerry) ended Table 2 by knocking out Beau G. and then Josh B., the September champion, in back-to-back hands: pocket nines against Beau's six-five, then ace-eight against Josh's ace-jack with an eight on the river for the full house. Amy M. won the biggest pot of the night before the last hand, 17,854 chips at hand 71, queens and jacks against Jordan's queens and sevens. Mike M. (kmikeym) went out eighth at hand 68, all in with ace-eight against Chris G.'s ace-king and J.'s pocket queens. Nobody showed down seven-deuce, and Gene did not play, so Cain and Abel stays open.
